About Erika
After earning a dual Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Students with Disabilities, Erika and her husband moved to Katonah in 2009. Katonah was the perfect fit: small-town feel, great schools, and a secure sense of community! Soon after purchasing their home in the Katonah Ridge area, they welcomed two children and began to really set roots. In 2015, Erika opened Katonah Village Kids, a preschool dedicated to cultivating fundamental skills for both academic and social-emotional growth in all students. Families at KVK join a dynamic, responsive, and caring environment where education, relationships, and community are paramount.
While Erika is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the Childcare Council of Westchester, and the Katonah Chamber of Commerce, her day-to-day interactions with children keep her grounded in the importance of embracing life with curiosity and enthusiasm!
